What is personal online coaching?
Itâs having your own personal trainer and nutrition coach with you all the time, without needing to be in the same room.
Most people over 55 know they should be stronger, eat better and move more. Knowing isnât the problem. The problem is knowing what to do for your body, doing it safely, and keeping it up once the motivation fades.
Â
What to expect
- An expert who gets to know you properly
- A plan for what you should do in your training and your eating, so you donât have to work it out yourself or follow advice written for 25-year-olds.
- An adjustment if its needed, to keep you going on the weeks youâd otherwise skip.
- A supportive coach because most people donât fail from lack of effort. They fail because theyâre doing it alone.
- A flexible approach so you can exercise when it suits you, at home, in the gym or while youâre away.
- Accountability and education for a fraction of the cost of seeing a trainer in person three times a week.Â
How It Works
1. We start with a conversation. Before anything is written, your coach learns about you: your goals, your health history, any old injuries or aches, what equipment you have and how much time you realistically have each week.
2. Then we do a movement scan. To check how you move, if you have any restrictions or limitations and to check exactly what your current level is.
3. Followed by a nutrition check. We look at how you eat now: your typical day, the foods you love and the ones you wonât touch to get an honest picture of where youâre starting from.
4. You get a plan built for you. Every exercise and food is chosen for your body and your starting point, whether thatâs your living room with a chair and a couple of dumbbells, or a gym.
5. Your coach chats with you every week. You tell them how it went: what felt good, what was hard, what hurt. They adjust your plan to suit and you can message them any time from your phone.
Who is it for?Â
People who want to stay strong, independent and keep doing the things they love for as long as possible.
We help with
- Strength to make stairs, shopping, gardening and getting up from a chair feel easier.
- Balance so you feel steadier on your feet and more confident when walking or changing direction.
- Mobility so you can move with less stiffness and improve confidence through a comfortable range.
- Long term confidence so you can build habits and physical ability that support independence as you get older.
HEY,
I'm David Birtwistle
A husband, coach, dog dad and Founder of Endeavour.
For the last 15 years my mission has been simple: to help people live longer, healthier and happier lives.
I started out after my degree in Strength & Conditioning Science, running bootcamps in the parks of west London and visiting clients at home before they went to work. Since then, Iâve coached hundreds of people, and one thing has become very clear to me.
The people who benefit most from getting stronger are often the ones the fitness industry ignores.
Walk into most gyms or scroll through fitness social media and itâs all built for 25-year-olds chasing six-packs. But after 55, strength isnât about how you look. Itâs about keeping your independence: carrying your shopping, getting up from the floor, travelling, gardening, keeping up with the grandchildren and staying out of the doctorâs waiting room.
And the good news is, your body responds to the right training at any age.
Thatâs why my coaches and I take a complete approach: training, nutrition, recovery and lifestyle, all in one place, built around your body, your history and the life you want to keep living.
You donât need to have trained before. You donât need to be fit to start. You just need the right plan and someone in your corner.
The best years can still be ahead of you. Letâs make sure youâre strong enough to enjoy them.
