HEY,

I'm David Birtwistle

A husband, coach, dog dad and Founder of Endeavour.

For the last 15 years my mission has been simple: to help people live longer, healthier and happier lives.

I started out after my degree in Strength & Conditioning Science, running bootcamps in the parks of west London and visiting clients at home before they went to work. Since then, I’ve coached hundreds of people, and one thing has become very clear to me.

The people who benefit most from getting stronger are often the ones the fitness industry ignores.

Walk into most gyms or scroll through fitness social media and it’s all built for 25-year-olds chasing six-packs. But after 55, strength isn’t about how you look. It’s about keeping your independence: carrying your shopping, getting up from the floor, travelling, gardening, keeping up with the grandchildren and staying out of the doctor’s waiting room.

And the good news is, your body responds to the right training at any age.

That’s why my coaches and I take a complete approach: training, nutrition, recovery and lifestyle, all in one place, built around your body, your history and the life you want to keep living.

You don’t need to have trained before. You don’t need to be fit to start. You just need the right plan and someone in your corner.

The best years can still be ahead of you. Let’s make sure you’re strong enough to enjoy them.

What is personal online coaching?

It’s having your own personal trainer and nutrition coach with you all the time, without needing to be in the same room.

Most people over 55 know they should be stronger, eat better and move more. Knowing isn’t the problem. The problem is knowing what to do for your body, doing it safely, and keeping it up once the motivation fades.

What to expect

  • An expert who gets to know you properly
  • A plan for what you should do in your training and your eating, so you don’t have to work it out yourself or follow advice written for 25-year-olds.
  • An adjustment if its needed, to keep you going on the weeks you’d otherwise skip.
  • A supportive coach because most people don’t fail from lack of effort. They fail because they’re doing it alone.
  • A flexible approach so you can exercise when it suits you, at home, in the gym or while you’re away.
  • Accountability and education for a fraction of the cost of seeing a trainer in person three times a week.Â
